Wakes up at 10 when heard phone ringing...cousin (the male). Suddenly, a lecturer held an anatomy class. The first year students who originally attend for the conference (there's a conference this week in Tanta University and I being the lazy person I am didn't attend) were dragged to attend the lecture. I didn't make it. Too lazy...and pissed since originally no class today (due to the conference)
Around 2 p.m decide suddenly to go to Awalbahr (a supposedly known as a shopping district around here) with my cousin (the female). Originally did decide to go today but end up lazy but still went in the end. In search for bags (handbag and attending-lecture-bag) Not much choice in most shop. End up in a 'black out' shop (they even put up a couple of candles). Browse around spot two bag. Kinda like it. Decide to buy each one and can alternate. The shopkeeper is annoying. Keep on laughing and asking eventhough he clearly know we didn't understand (a major language barrier here) Checking out cousin's bag first, it's a spoiled goods. Refrain from buying and checking mine, kinda satisfied with it. Went into the shop to look for more. The annoying shopkeeper appeared with a flash light. Still being annoying. Nothing interesting in the shop. Bought my bag. Get a less five egyptian pound. The shopkeeper still being annoying when we were about to leave. He finally shuts up after being scold by me for asking weird questions (on purpose of course since he knows we couldn't understand *sigh*)
She (the cousin) become jealous a bit since she haven't found hers. Walk around for god knows how many hours and we lost count at how many shop we went to. But none interesting. Suddenly thinking of buying shoes. She told me to bought one since I've been wanting to buy one but never have. Bought a shoe which I think is quite cute? yeah maybe but not bad. Liking it actually. she is still pissed since she haven't bought her bag yet. Spot a vendor with lotsa bag. Spot a cute handbag. Show it to cousin. She likes it and bought it. The cousin cheer up a bit. Cross the street and walk straight into a shop. Full of bags. Bought a cute handbag for me. The cousin regret a bit since mine cuter. But still she likes hers too. Though mine cheaper XD.
Walk another round since the cousin wanted the attending-lecture-bag. never found one. that she likes. and that I think pretty and cute. In search for way out to go back home. Taking the liberty to browse around of any shops with pretty bag. Failed to find one. None that's appealing. Suddenly end up in a market district. Realized at first when saw two chicken stalls opposite with each other. Shoved the thought when doesn't really seem familiar. Spot a butchery. Awfully familiar. Spot a fish stall. It is the market district we usually went to. Half laughing and half amazed. Didn't even realize had walked that far, REALLY far. 'Girls when shopping are scary' now I know. Took a cab and when back home.
Still feeling amazed at our footwork in the cab. Doesn't feel tired at all. But do realized we had walked a really long time. The cousin is a bit disappointed though, since she only bought a handbag. She keep on repeating the things I bought. Feels a bit sorry for her. Well, there's always next time.
On way home saw a fruit seller. Although not sure what kind of fruit it is still bought since look a lot like honey dew (really love honey dew) only smaller. A bit bigger than orange. Had planned to bought apples but didn't since too expensive.
At home rushed on getting prepared for the event tonight (EMINENT). It is honey dew! Feels happy. Cousin (the male) called he's on his way on picking us up (girls can't go out without a male escort after maghrib) Rushing with everything.
End up didn't bring wallet when arrived. Scolding self since haven't have dinner and hungry. Bought some food using cousin's (the female) money. A friend want to use a toilet. Don't want to went upstairs. Offer to go with her to the ground floor. Since the new student (first year too) house is at the ground floor. Someone wears my slipper. Make a scene for awhile. End up going down with only stockings covering my foot. Cursing to whom wears my slipper on way down. Borrow a slipper on the way up. My slipper had been returned (still cursing)
The talk starts. Starts taking attendance (since I and my cousin is the registree). Feeling really hot. Finding out I'm down with a fever. An excuse to not attend tomorrow's lesson ^_^ The supposedly forum on polygamy turns to be about marriage. Thinking 'it's off topic people!!' while looking at the forumers. It's boring.
The forum ends at around eleven. Immediately rings cousin (the male) to take us back home.
